Aplós and Ākulikuli
Ākulikuli: A coastal herb (Sesuvium portulacastrum), known in many warm regions, somewhat like wild portulaca.
- 1 oz. Aplós
- 2 oz. Akulikuli syrup*
- 1 oz. Lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- Combine ingredients in a shaker. Shake and strain into a martini glass.
*Simple syrup: Combine 1/2 cup of Ākulikuli (sea purslane) with 1oz spirulina powder and 6 drops liquid chlorophyll with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Stir over heat until sugar dissolves, then strain.
