The holiday season is a time for celebration, and what better way to spread cheer than by hosting a joyous gathering with delightful non-alcoholic punches that everyone can enjoy? Whether you're entertaining guests who are not drinkers or simply looking to offer an array of festive beverages, these four non-alcoholic recipes are easy to batch and serve. They will surely be the stars of your holiday soirée.
A Fizzy Affair
Cheers to the pursuit of magic.
Aplós Arise
2 oz
Cranberry cordial
1oz
Lemon juice
1/2oz
Sparkling water
2 oz
In a shaker combine Aplós, lemon, and cordial. Shake and strain into a coupe or flute. Add sparkling water. Garnish with an orange twist.
A Few Good Things
Bad habits make us feel better—at first. But they have a backlash of their own, and soon we can find ourselves each day more run down than the last. Relief can be found on a short trip to the vegetable patch, or its modern equivalent: the produce aisle. Seek out the stunted, the ugly, battered and the blemished fruits and vegetables. Like people, produce is all the more palatable when it’s not perfect.
Aplós Calme or Ease
2 oz.
Fresh lime juice
1 oz
Simple syrup
3/4 oz
Cucumber wheel
3 oz
Mint leaves
4-6
Aplós Mojito
Cocktails to prolong the enjoyment of a long weekend.
Aplós Arise
2 oz
Sugar
1 tbsp
Fresh mint
Bunch
Lime juice
2 oz
Soda water
2 oz
In a shaker, combine Aplós Arise, sugar, lime juice, and ice. Shake and strain into a high ball glass over ice. Add soda water. Garnish with fresh mint and flower sprigs, if desired.
The Slow Glow
An uplifting punch best enjoyed among friends by the warm glow of the firelight.
Aplós Calme or Ease
2 oz
Sparkling apple cider
1/2 cup
Pomegranate juice
1/2 cup
Blood orange or orange juice
1/4 cup
Sparkling water
1/4 cup
Cinnamon stick
Apple slices
Simply combine ingredients in a pitcher or punch bowl and stir to mix. Add optional herbs to the punch. Serve in a punch cup or wine glass, and garnish as desired. Let all distractions fade away.
